About Me

Hi, I am Jemma.  I am a Mum of two boys and have been involved in the baby and kids industry for the past five years with a busy and fun online baby and children’s website.   As well as this online store, I was the creator of the Handmade Kids website, the leading Australian website on the handmade industry.  Handmade Kids primary focus was on supporting and helping to get small WAHM's (Work at Home Mum) businesses known via advertising on my website, as well as providing support to small business.   I sold this website in mid 2011 and as such am excited to be able to pursue another avenue such as Midwest Kids.

About Midwest Kids

Often we hear of new families moving to our new town and finding it difficult to access information on all that is available for them, or suddenly you find yourself becoming a parent and discover your world changes and you need to find about about a whole bunch fo new stuff.   Midwest Kids aims to give everyone this information with the click of a button.  Midwest Kids is the ONLY dedicated website in the Geraldton/Midwest for parents.    The website aims to provide a comprehensive list of all business, non profit organisations and services in our community that parents may need via our website and dedicated facebook page. 

We want to create a community where parents, grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and more visit to gain access to local information, support or just someone to have a discussion with.  Through our dedicated facebook page and forum we encourage you stop by, join in discussions, ask questions, share information and hopefully have fun and a laugh with us.

We have joined up with some great businesses and services in the Midwest area to bring your articles about informative topics, and create discussion on our social media.  If you would like to join us on this fabulous adventure, please contact us!
